Refund Policy for Divi Optimizer (via Paddle)

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the Divi Optimizer checkout powered by Paddle at https://divioptimizer.com.

1. Paddle Is Merchant of Record

Paddle, acting as the merchant of record, processes all sales of Divi Optimzier products, including plugins, subscriptions, and one-time purchases. This means Paddle handles payment, billing, taxes, invoices, cancellations, and refunds under its legal terms, including the Paddle Invoiced Consumer Terms and Conditions.

Paddle processes payments on our behalf; refunds must be requested through Paddle, not directly through Divi Optimizer.

2. 14-Day Refund Eligibility (Consumer Right to Cancel)

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if:

  • You are buying as a consumer (not business-only use), and
  • You request cancellation within 14 days of the transaction date.

Paddle’s terms allow cancellation within 14 days if you haven't started downloading or using the digital product.

What this means:
If you change your mind or the product doesn’t meet your needs, you can request a refund within 14 days—as long as the product has not already been fully accessed or used.

3. Case-By-Case Refunds Beyond 14 Days

Paddle may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis outside the 14-day window. Refund approval is at Paddle’s discretion, and Paddle may refuse a refund for reasons including:

  • Evidence of fraud or refund abuse
  • Policy violations such as chargeback abuse
  • Subscription renewal refunds (only original 14-day period applies)

Divi Optimizer supports reasonable refund requests, but Paddle handles final refund decisions and processing.

4. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Subscription purchases renew automatically until cancelled.

  • You may cancel at any time by contacting Paddle support.
  • After the 14-day refund period, unused time is not eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellation prevents future billing but does not guarantee a refund for periods already billed.

If you cancel within the first 14 days of the subscription, you may be eligible for a full refund, depending on Paddle’s evaluation.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Go to https://paddle.net (Paddle Order Support).
  2. Use the email address you used to make the purchase.
  3. Kindly provide your order/transaction ID from your receipt.

You can also follow the refund request link provided in your Paddle order email.

6. Refund Processing & Timing

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method.
Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider but usually appears within a few business days after Paddle approves the refund.

7. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider before requesting a refund through Paddle may result in:

  • Suspension of your licence or access
  • Termination of services
  • Disqualification from future refunds

Always contact Paddle support first to resolve payment or billing disputes.

8. Changes to This Policy

Divi Optimizer may update this Refund Policy when necessary. The updated policy will be posted on https://divioptimizer.com with a revised “Last Updated” date.
