Cloudflare R2 Media Offload Setup

The R2 Storage extension offloads your media library uploads to Cloudflare R2 object storage to save hosting disk space and load images directly through a fast CDN proxy.

Step 1: Create a Bucket in Cloudflare R2

  1. Log in to your Cloudflare Dashboard and select R2.
  2. Click Create Bucket, enter a unique bucket name, and click Create.

Step 2: Generate API Access Token

  1. In Cloudflare R2, click Manage R2 API Tokens.
  2. Click Create API Token. Select Edit permission and click Create.
  3. Copy the generated Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, and your Account ID.

Step 3: Configure settings in Divi Optimizer

  1. Go to Divi Optimizer > Extensions and enable R2 Storage.
  2. Navigate to the R2 Storage Settings tab.
  3. Paste your Account ID, Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, and Bucket Name.
  4. Click Save & Test Connection to verify settings.

Step 4: Run Media Migration
Use the Bulk Migration tab to sync and move all your existing WordPress media library files directly to Cloudflare R2.
